Schweizer SGS 2-32
A three-place all-metal sailplane built by Schweizer Aircraft in Elmira, New York. Roughly a 57-foot span and a glide ratio near 34:1. The pilot sits up front, two passengers sit side by side behind, and the airframe is heavy and stable, which is why the 2-32 has been a standard American ride and training glider for decades. Ours is N232WE, serial 87. The manual below is the original Schweizer flight, erection and maintenance handbook.
